Hey! I had the pleasure of seeing our amazing boys on August 7th and 8th in Toronto and Detroit! I bought VIP to the Toronto show and my sister won soundcheck for the Detroit show. There are no words that could express the happiness that I felt while at was at these two shows! The guys were so sweet and hilarious! I didn't want to leave the soundchecks, they were just so much fun! The concerts were full of energy and you could see that the guys really appreciated all the fans for coming out to see them! I had fantastic seats at the Toronto show! and Im going to the Sudbury show in 9 days and I have 3rd row floor for that show as well:D THANK YOU FANCLUB! I saw the boys on August 15th in Atlantic City and loaded all my pictures from the show (unfortunately my pics suck, but i'll post some of them anyways!). All I can say is the boys were AMAZING. I brought my friend Danielle who is not a fan (not even close tbh) and she had a blast. The guys just looked so....happy. They had huge grins on the entire time and it seemed they were genuinely amazed at how many die-hard fans they have. Everyone was singing every song. It was amazing. The guys were flawless in there dancing and singing and...ugh just perfect. i wish i could see them again on this tour, but they aren't coming anywhere close again. I already had to drive 3 hours to see them this time! (well, it actually took 4 1/2 hours with friday rush-hour traffic). I didn't get to meet them though :( I did not get VIP tickets because i knew Danielle was coming and she is not a superfan and i'm sure would not have wanted to pay $230 for the ticket. But thats ok - i am still so nervous about ever meeting them and having them ruin my perfect mental image lol. Anyways, here are some pictures...they suck because it was general admission and my camera kept focusing on the hands in front of me instead of on the stage, but i got a few good ones in the bunch! so there they are. some of them turned out pretty good. All in all i took 250 pictures, and these were the best! hope you all enjoyed! If you want to see the rest of the pictures, i loaded them all on my flickr account! |

| So tonight's the Atlantic City show and me and two of my friends are going. There's a catch though, we have one extra ticket that we're going to try to sell before the show. If anyone's been looking for a ticket for this one, try to find us outside the door before we're let in. Remember it's an 18+ show, so unless you are scheming ways to get in, we can only sell to any 18 or older. To find us, just look around, we'll probably be yelling that we have an extra ticket. All this week, Sis has been glued to the laptop doing uni preps and checking out Clearing options and generally fretting SO MUCH about her results that came out today. I said she was being a numpty, my gut was saying she had nothing to worry about, but her gut was telling her something different. Causing my Mum to get all anxious about it to. I think having two older siblings who got straight A's at this stage really didn't help much, though no one was putting any pressure on her - unless you count herself! Earlier in the week she had a small panic attack when she noted that her applied-for course had no spaces in Clearing. (Universities got the ALevel grades earlier than the kids in order to help them sort out where the Clearing places will be.) I tried to explain that there were no spaces because everyone who accepted her course as their first place will have gotten in! There was no sense to be heard, she carried on spazzing. Last night, I was chilling upstairs watch Evan Almighty when she approached me a little timid. 'Sis,' she says. 'If there's no Clearing places available does that mean everyone who accepted has gotten in?' Why hello thar, clarity! Still, she wasn't entirely convinced. She slept fitfully. Then one of her pals calls at like 6am telling her she could check online whether she got into her uni or not and I swear I think she burst my eardrums. I did not take so kindly to be woken up be an ear piercing I GOT IN!!!!!! squeal lol. Little Miss Giddy, she was. She got herself dressed and dashed off to school - like, 2hrs before they would release her actual results. Weirdo. She called later on a cloud of squee, actually, what comes above the sque cloud? Cos I think she was entering the stratosphere by this point... she'd gotten straight A's. *BEAM* I knew she had it in her and I am so so pleased/proud of her (Even though I keep asking her who she bribed :p). She deserves it and I can only hope and wish she goes on to bigger and better things. Congratulations, lil Sis :) (I've heard from Abi... the rest of y'all... how did you do?!) |

Hi all! I know i haven't written in like weeks and i sincerely apologize for that. I've been working through the summer tyrying to get some stories done thought these past few weeks have been a little crazed. So I haven't had the time to finish any of the stories i've been working on. I'm starting the sequel to Some Thing's You Just Can't Deny and if everything goes according to plan, it should be done by next week. I'll try to keep to posting on Monday's just so everyone knows when something will be up and i will keep you updated on the stories and when they will be post poned or any further information concerning them. Exactly one year ago tomorrow, I set out on my trip to Turkey. It was a crazy crazy start to the holiday, that nightmare trip to Manchester two days earlier than we were supposed to fly in order to get Sis' exam results. This year, having learnt from that insane drama, we're head up to Manchester tonight (train leaves in an hour). Her results come out tomorrow and she is being a little stress-head about it. I get the importance I do, I was in her shoes not so long ago after all, but jeepers, I have never seen someone so stressed out LOL. Anyhow, I have every faith she will have done fine and gotten into the uni of her choice. Best of luck to the rest of you collecting results tomorrow... off the top of my head: ir0nically_no, abigailmarissa and d_l_c for sure.Just like last year, results out tomorrow, our flight (from Manc) Saturday at noon. I come bearing gifts!! I love finding new music... especially after a long period of drought. ...seriously, the last few weeks I've been itching for new material but all my recc sources had dried up - they kept recc'ing stuff I already had. Heh. Anyway, this one is for the fans of Breaking Benjamin, Skillet and the like. They're a band called 12 Stones. I only have one of their albums down at the moment, but I'm really loving it. It's one of those rare albums where I love most, if not all, the tracks on there.
